SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Keene State College junior Cody Fitzgerald opened competition on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Regional Diving Championships at the Art Linkletter Natatorium at Springfield College on Friday.

Fitzgerald finished 19th overall, with a score of 425.45.  Matthew Rohrer of Tufts University won the event with a score of 585.20.

The 1-meter competition begins on Saturday.
