Women's Cross Country

Women's Cross Country Finishes Fourth at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Keene State Women's cross-country team, running without 2014 NCAA-qualifier Samantha Goldsmith, placed 4th of 42 teams at the 2015 UMass Dartmouth Cross-Country Invitational today.


The Owls top 5 runners were Kaitlin Wheeler 6th in 18:16, Carli Davis 11th in 18:36, Molly Schaefer 23rd in 18:57, Lindsay Szuch 25th in 19:02, and Kate Lynch 51st in 19:44.
 
As a team, KSC trailed only Brandeis University, East Stroudsburg University (NCAA Division II), and Connecticut College.

Keene State had four runners finish ahead of any other Little East Conference school.
 
Wheeler was the top LEC runner and the 4th division III finisher overall.
 
Keene State competes next at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA on Friday, October 2, 2015.
