KEENE, N.H.--The Keene State College women's cross country team placed four runners in the top 10 to claim the 2016 Keene State College Invitational on Saturday at Owl Athletic Complex.  The Owl men's team finished third.

• The Owls are back in action next weekend, at the James Early Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University.  The race will give KSC a preview of the NCAA Regional race, which takes place on November 12.

Women's Results

• Senior Lindsay Szuch claimed the individual medalist honors, with a dominating time of 18:42 on the 5K course.  Szuch finished the race a full 41 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
• Alyssa Lombardi was fourth in 19:29, and Katelyn Terry was sixth in 19:40.  Katharine Lynch placed ninth in 20:01, and Rachel Klaski was 11th in 20:17 to round out the Owl scorers.
• Lauren Perkowski finished in 12th place in 20:27, and Lindsey Terry was 13th in 20:31.  Brittany Gravallese (25th, 21:14), Alana Olendorf (26th, 21:14), Aimee Krafft (28th, 21:49), Emily Jarka (33rd, 22:10), Audrey Boraski (36th, 22:19), and Kelsey Sheehan (37th, 22:19) finished out the Owl runners.
• Keene State finished with 23 points, well ahead of second placed Colby-Sawyer (45) and third place Plymouth State (73).

Men's Results

• Junior Phillip Parent was the first Owl across the line, finishing the 8K course in 25:55.  Iid Sheikh-Yusuf was sixth overall in 26:16, and Ian Connell was 10th in 26:59.
• Ben MacDonald finished 19th in 27:42, while Matt Dudley was 24th in 27:56, and Tyler DeChane was 26th in 28:08.  Gavin Thomas finished 27th overall in 28:14, with Tristram Patoine in 46th place in 29:45.
• The Owls totalled 61 points, just behind second place Colby-Sawyer (58) points, and race champions Fitchburg State (50 points).  Plymouth State's Sam Brunnette was the individual race winner in 25:41.
