WESTFIELD, Mass.--Senior Lindsay Szuch finished in eighth place as the Keene State College cross country teams competed at the James Early Invitational at Stanley Park on Saturday.  Szuch and the women's team finished third overall, while the Owl men were in ninth place.

Women's Race

• Szuch finished in eighth place out of 459 runners, covering the 6K course in 22:29.68.  Katelyn Terry was next over the finish line, turning in a 33rd place performance in 23:29.45.  Alyssa Lombardi was 55th in 24:03.36.
• Rachel Klaski (65th, 24:10.44) and Katharine Lynch (72nd, 24:18.62) also placed in the top 100.
• Lauren Perkowski (25:03.70), Lindsey Terry (25:10.36), and Alana Olendorf (25:13.83) were next, followed by Brittany Gravallese (25:44.88), Emily Jarka (25:54.20), Aimee Krafft (26:49.51), Audrey Boraski (27:04.76), and Kelsey Sheehan (27:05.08).
• The University of New England claimed the team title with 65 points, while Westfield State's Jese Cardin was the individual winner in 21:26.81.

Men's Race

• Phil Parent was the first KSC male across the line, finishing 21st out of 432 runners 26:18.63, with Iid Sheikh-Yusuf in 38th place in 26:45.70.  
• Ian Connell (67th place, 27:17.43), Ben MacDonald (72nd, 27:23.02) and Matt Dudley (100th, 27:49.30) all placed in the top 100 for the Owls.
• Gavin Thomas (28:01.44), Tyler DeChane (28.26.91), Tristram Patoine (30:00.77), and James Stergis-Cox (30:15.54) finished off the Owl contingent of runners.
• Brandeis University finished as the top team with 68 pints, while Gordon College's Damon Kilgore took home the individual honors in 25:10.57.
