Box Score 2 DANBURY, Conn.--The Keene State College volleyball team swept a pair of five set matches on the road on Saturday, taking a 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 21-25, 15-7) Little East Conference win over Western Connecticut State University, and a 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 25-27, 15-11) win over Bridgewater State University at Feldman Arena.

- The Owls could not get closer than three, as the Colonials ended the set with a kill from Karissa Smith.
Set Two Highlights - Western Connecticut State
- Keene State rallied from a 7-5 deficit for three straight points on Bunker's service ace. Kills from Syzmanski and Severino on either side of a WCSU error upped the KSC advantage to 14-10.
- Taylor Bright served up an ace that made it 19-12, but the Colonials closed to within 23-19 on a kill by Karissa Smith.
- After KSC claimed setpoint on a WCSU service error, Courtney Collins ended the set with a kill off a pass from Katie Cunningham.
Set Three Highlights - Western Connecticut State
- Keene State took an early 5-3 lead on Cunningham's kill, but WCSU rattled off four straight points for a 7-5 lead.
- The Owls then went on a run of their own, scoring nine straight to open up a 14-7 advantage, with Lamica having four kills during that stretch.
- Two WCSU errors and an ace from Syzmanski increased the KSC lead to 22-13, and Smith's attacking error gave KSC the set.
Set Four Highlights - Western Connecticut State
- The Colonials jumped out to a 9-2 lead, on the offense of Alyssa Dam and Karissa Smith. A pair of kills from Lamica got the Owls within 12-10, but back to back kills from King pushed the lead back to 14-10.
- Five straight points for the Owls, punctuated by a WCSU error, gave the Owls a 15-14 lead, which increased to 19-17 on two more WCSU errors.
- Keene State's serving error tied the set at 20, and the Colonials scored five of the next six points to take the set.
Set Five Highlights - Western Connecticut State
- The Owls rallied once again in the deciding set, as Collins' block on King and another WCSU error tied the set at six.
- Back-to-back kills from Lamica and Syzmanski gave KSC a 10-7 lead, and the Colonials would not score again.
- Keene State took the final five points of the set, as Lamica ended the set and the match with her 14th kill of the game.

- Keene State got 10 kills apiece from Lamica, Collins, and Carrel, serving up eight aces and 13 total blocks.
- Cunningham had 36 assists, Bunker had two aces and 20 digs, and Kait West had 14 digs, with Cunningham adding 11 and Jenny Nohara had 10.
- The Owls limited Bridgewater State to .102 hitting, holding them under .100 in the first and fourth sets.

- It was the Owls who took an early lead, as Katie Dyer served up an ace for a 7-2 lead.
- After the Bears pulled within 14-10, Keene State went back up 18-12 on an ace from Lydia Niderno and Dyer's kill.
- A kill from Niamh Dodd gave Keene State a 21-15 lead, but seven straight points gave the Bears a 22-21 advantage before Dyer closed out the set with a kill.
Set Two Highlights - Bridgewater State
- Bunker served an ace as part of a 6-0 run that gave the Owls a 7-4 lead, and Niderno and Brooke Hatanaka combined for a block that gave the Owls a 10-7 advantage.
- A Bridgewater State serving error tied the set at 17, and consecutive kills from Hatanaka gave KSC a 20-18 lead.
- The Bears responded with a 7-3 run to end the set, as Elizabeth Roberts ended proceedings to tie the match at a set each.
Set Three Highlights - Bridgewater State
- Kat Carrel's kill gave Keene State an early 6-3 lead, and Lamica had an ace that increased the lead to 8-3.
- Lamica and Collins teamed up for a block that gave the Owls a 13-9 advantage, but the Bears chipped away, going up 19-18 on a kill by Colleen Longley.
- Keene State closed the door, ending the set on a 7-2 run, with Collins hammering down the final kill as the Owls took a 25-21 win.
Set Four Highlights - Bridgewater State
- It was Bridgewater State who took the big lead in the fourth set, going up 11-4 on a KSC error.
- The lead increased to 16-9 on Hannah Maymon's kill, and the Owls could not get closer than seven as the Bears reached set point on an Keene State error.
- With no margin for error, KSC rattled off seven straight points to force extra points. Lamica had two kills during that span, while the Bears committed six errors as KSC tied the set at 24.
- The teams traded points before Bridgewater State got kills from Roberts and Maymon to force a deciding fifth set.
Set Five Highlights - Bridgewater State
- The teams went back and forth; Maymon's kill put the Bears up 3-1, but Collins had two kills and Lamica another that gave the Owls a 5-4 lead.
- Lamica had another kill that tied the match at seven, and the Owls never looked back, ending the set on an 8-4 run to take their second five set win of the day.
- Carrel's kill put the Owls up 12-8, and Syzmanski's ace and another kill from Carrel gave the Owls the win.
