Tolla picked up the ball at the top of the box and placed it high in the left corner, sailing over the outstretched hands of Fernandez.
- Two shots by Western Connecticut State in the 21st and 24th minutes aimed to tie it up, but the shots by Allison Oakley and Celia DeVoe were both high.
- Keene State increased their lead in the 40th minute, as Taylor Farland sent a through ball to Norton, who dribbled shortly and shot right past an incoming Fernandez into the low, right corner to bring the Owls up two going into the second half.
Second Half Highlights
- The Colonials earned a goal of their own in the 52nd minute, after a scramble in the box led to a shot between the left post and Warhall off the feet of Autumn Sorice.
- Fernandez made three key saves in the 79th and 80th minute, but the Owls kept pressing and fired another one in during the final seconds of the 80th minute to make it 3-1, Keene State. A run up the right side and a cross into the left side of the box from Farland found the head of Morgan Kathan, who placed it right over Fernandez and into the right side of the goal.
- The final tally came for the Owls in the 86th minute, as a cross from Kathan landed at a Western Connecticut State defender and deflected into the Colonials' own goal.
