How It Happened
In the 40th minute, freshman defender Madison Byrnes opened the scoring with her first collegiate goal. Klosterman took a pass from senior midfielder Angela Gonzalez  to break in alone on Keene State goalkeeper Rebecca Koziara. The first-team All-Empire 8 Conference player slid the ball past the charging Owl keeper for Brynes to tap into the open net.
Klosterman (above) added to the RSC lead in the 60th minute, depositing a feed from senior forward Natalie Ricci past Koziara.
Freshman goalkeepers Kierstin Lynch and Emma DeMatteo combined to make four saves in the non-conference victory. Koziara stopped four RSC shots.
