CASTLETON, Vt.--
Sarah Ames raced to a third place overall finish, as the Keene State College women's cross country team placed third at the Little East Conference cross country championships at Castleton University on Saturday morning.
Ames covered the 5K course in 21:03, earning her First Team All-LEC Honors.  Â
Grace Furlong was 10th across the line in 22:08, just one second ahead of teammate
Hannah Jones, who was 11th in 22:09.  Both Furlong and Jones picked up Second Team All-LEC awards.

Juliana Yialiades (29th, 23:45),
Rhea Votano (45th, 24:48),
Anna Logan (47th, 25:05), and
Sara Christian (48th, 25:11) completed the Owl runners.
Plymouth State won the team championship with 69 points to win the championship by one point, while the Panthers' Kim Bowles was the individual medalist in 20:45.
Next up for the Owls is the NCAA Regional Race on November 13 at Franklin Park in Roxbury, Mass.
