Sonia Moritz picked up her first collegiate shutout as the Keene State College women's soccer team beat The College of Our Lady of the Elms 2-0 Saturday at Leary Field.

How it Happened
Kopicko's first goal came at the 10:40 mark to put the Owls ahead 1-0. It was one of four shots Keene State had in the half, albeit the only one that was on goal. But the KSC defense limited Elms to one shot during the first 45 minutes, which was not on goal.
Keene State built on its momentum in the second half by registering five shots on goal in the first seven minutes. The fifth one, at 51:54 by Kopicko, found the back of the net to put the Owls ahead 2-0. The Owls ultimately posted 13 shots on goal in the second half to bring their total for the day up to 14. Meanwhile, Moritz made both of her saves in the half to preserve the win for the Owls.

- This was the first-ever meeting between both teams.
- Moritz also picked up her first collegiate win in goal.
- Junior defender Alexa Skinner picked up an assist on both goals. She is now tied for the most assists in the Little East Conference with three.
