How it Happened
Senior midfielder Denis Fleming, who scored a goal the prior day against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, picked up right were he left off by scoring at the 21:51 mark to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. It was the only goal KSC would score in the first half.

Also, like Keene State's win against MCLA, the Owls would break through in the second half by scoring four goals. The first goal came at 53:33 from senior forward Mbambi Mbungu. Senior midfielder Declan Coughlin made it 3-0 with a goal at 61:33. Both of those goals were assisted by Fleming.

Mullen scored the first of his two goals at 81:33, with an assist by freshman forward Nick Henao Vasquez. Just over seven minutes later at 88:36, Mullen scored again with an assist by sophomore midfielder Caleb Harmon.
