How it Happened
After Keene State's goalkeeper, Riley Andriski made a save in net in the opening eight minutes of play, the Owls flipped the field and were on the attack for the next 10 minutes, pestering the Vikings' defense. Ava Guyer, the Vikings' goalkeeper, made three saves in net over the 10 minutes, to with a defensive save to prevent a goal from Elizabeth Tschudin from a SSU defender. Shortly after Guyer's third save in goal, Giuliana Stolfi sent a pass from the Owls' defensive half of the field to Tschudin near midfield. After taking a touch, Tschudin led Dickinson with a pass towards the Vikings' goal, which resulted in Dickinson shooting around a charging Guyer and finding the back of the net to put KSC ahead, 1-0. Through the rest of the half, the Owls continued to try to apply the pressure and notch another insurance goal, but Guyer held her ground and denied two more shots, coming from Isabella Moran and Katie Hattie, to keep the Owls' lead to one heading into halftime.

The Owls opened the second half by continuing to apply the same amount of pressure on the offensive half, but none of KSC's nine shots over the opening 18 minutes of the second half hit the target. The first shot on goal in the second half came from the Vikings, as Savannah Scrodin tried to tie the game up at one, but Andriski saved her shot to preserve KSC's lead. Both teams continued to trade possessions as the contest went on, and it was not until there was less than eight minutes left, where KSC looked to tack on one more goal, but Allison Kenyon's shot was saved by Guyer for her sixth shot of the day. In the closing minutes, Andriski made one more save to clinch the win for the Owls, denying Anna Frost of the equalizer, to give the Owls their sixth win of the season.
