Sophomore goaltender
Ai Chung (Kaohsiung City, Taiwan) was named the LEC Goaltender of the Week for the third week this season, following her back-to-back selections earlier in the season. In the lone contest for the Owls on the week, Chung bounced back from her previous outing with a strong performance against a tough Williams College opponent, who was receiving votes from the United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) rankings. In net, Chung made 10 saves in the first period, followed by 23 saves in each the second and third periods for 56 saves for the Owls. Chung locked down the Ephs with 11 saves across their six power play opportunities as they were held without a power play goal in the contest.
Chung and the Owls return to the ice back at home on Friday, December 5, at 7:30 PM as the Owls get back to LEC play against the University of Southern Maine.
