PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Andrew Wiegand was honored by the Little East Conference from his impressive week for the Owls for the week of 2/23-3/1.

Senior goalkeeper Andrew Wiegand (Jefferson, Mass.) was named the LEC Goalkeeper of the Week from his impressive performance in net for the Owls in his first two collegiate starts. Over his 190:52 in net across the two games, Wiegand had a 9.27 GAA and .575 SV% as he anchored the Owls to a 1-1 week to open the 2026 season. Against Western New England University, Wiegand made 16 saves in net for the Owls, against a tough Golden Bear opponent to open the season. In the Owls' home opener, Wiegand played in 49:52 of the contest and made seven saves to pick up his first career collegiate win for KSC, coming against Johnson & Wales University (RI).
 
Wiegand and the Owls return to action at home on Tuesday, March 3, at 2:00 PM against Springfield College for their next matchup.
