KEENE, N.H. – The Keene State College men's soccer team returned home for their second Little East Conference matchup of the year and after the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth converted a first half penalty shot,
Tommaso Brivio drew even in the 64th minute and the Owls came away with a point in the LEC standings from the 1-1 draw.

How it Happened
The Owls attack applied pressure early on with four shots over the first eight minutes of the contest, but the Corsairs' goalkeeper, Edward Corliss, saved the two shots on goal from KSC, denying
Edoardo Tambini and
Luke Belisle early. The next 20 minutes was all UMD on the attack as the Corsairs recorded seven shots over the span, but only one was on target, which
Tommaso Lorrai saved for KSC. The Corsairs pressure continued in the 28th minute and KSC was called for a card in the box and UMD converted with Nick Scanlon burying the shot to put the Corsairs ahead 1-0. The rest of the first half the Owls recorded another shot on goal, but
Jorge Zaura Saez's shot was saved by Corliss and the Corsairs took a 1-0 lead into the half.
UMD continued their pressure over the first four minutes of the second half but all three of the chances missed the goal. Over the next 12 minutes the Owls flipped the pressure with five shots, but Corliss saved the two on target, but after the second shot resulted in KSC's third corner of the second half leading to the Owls' tying goal.
Jack Corby's corner kick was sent to
Pietro Bergozza, whose header found Brivio near UMD's goal line and sent a shot just past the line before the Corsairs cleared it for the tying goal with 26:33 remaining. Both teams traded a shot on goal over the next three minutes, but the opposing goalkeepers made the save to keep the tie intact. The remaining 20 minutes of the contest neither team recorded a shot on goal as the teams traded possessions back and forth as UMD was unable to capitalize on their three corner kicks and the teams played to a 1-1 tie.
