NORTON, MA. 9/15/01 - The Keene State College women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, a 3-0 defeat to a Wheaton College team that is ranked first in New England and sixth in the nation. KSC entered the game ranked seventh in the region.

Becky Donahue and Courtney Linden scored first half goals and Erin Brennan added a second half goal for the Lyons (4-0) who remain undefeated. Keene State drops to 4-1.

Keene State freshman goalie Michelle Mason (Fairport, NY) finished the game with fives saves. The Owls had four shots on goal in the game.

Keene State will host Framingham State on Monday (6 p.m.). The game was originally scheduled for last Tuesday.
