'BEVERLY, MA. 10/15/02 - The Keene State College women's soccer team improved its record to 11-2-1 with a 2-0 non-conference victory against Endicott College in Beverly, MA. On Tuesday.

It was the seventh win in the last eight games for the Owls.  Endicott goes to 9-6.

Both KSC goals came in the first half.  Jennifer Ortisi (Allenstown, N.H.) gave the Owls a 1-0 lead with her fifth goal of the season.  Switching fields, Colleen Antonini (Plymouth, MA.) sent a pass over to the junior midfielder, who knocked the ball into the net. Antonini now has a team-leading 11 assists this season.

Erin Lester (Walpole, N.H.) upped KSC lead to 2-0 just under four minutes later when she volleyed in a throw-in from the sidelines.  Amy Lamson  (Bridgewater, MA.) had an assist on the play. It was Lester's 11th goal of the season.

Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) turned aside four shots for her sixth shutout of the season.

Keene State is at Framingham State on Thursday (4 p.m.).
