'PROVIDENCE, R.I. 10/19/02 - Junior Erin Lester's (Walpole,
N.H.) goal at the 75:08 mark of the second half lifted Keene State
College to a 1-0 victory over Rhode Island College in a Little East
Conference women's soccer game played Saturday in Providence, R.I.
It was the ninth win in the last 10 games for KSC (13-2-1, 4-0

of Lester's at Fall Mountain High School.
KSC dominated play throughout the game, but could not get
another ball by RIC goalie Melissa Carpentier, who finished with 11
saves and yielded her first goal and conference action.
Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) turned aside two shots to notch her
seventh shutout of the season.
KSC travels to Eastern Conn on Tuesday (3 p.m.) for a LEC
showdown with the warriors that could determine home field for the
upcoming LEC Tournament.
