'KEENE, N.H. 9/7/02- The Keene State College women's soccer team advanced to the championship game of the Rowan University tournament with a 3-1 victory over Haverford (PA.) College on Saturday.

The Owls took a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Katie Parkinson (South Kingstown, R.I.) and Carolyn Crawford (Abington, MA.). Colleen Antonini (Plymouth, MA.) picked up an assists on the goal.

After Haverford cut the deficit to 2-1 early in the second half, KSC got a key insurance goal by Aleisha Nelly (Guilford, CT) to give KSC a two-goal cushion.

KSC had a 15-6 shot advantage in the contest.

Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) made four saves for KSC (2-0), which will face host Rowan University in Sunday's title game at 7 p.m.
