'PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Keene State College's women's soccer team out
shot Plymouth State University 14-0 Saturday en route to a 3-0
Little East Conference victory
at Panther Field.
The Owls won their fourth straight game to improve to 9-3-1
overall and 3-0-1 in the Little East, while PSU dropped its third
in a row to dip to 7-4-1 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.
Sophomore Michelle Harmon (Nashua, N.H.) put the Owls on the
board with the only goal of the first half, notching her first goal
of the season at the 30:07 mark. Senior Jennifer Ortisi
(Allenstown, N.H.) made it a 2-0 game with 16 minutes left in the
second half, and sophomore Sarah Miller (Walpole, N.H.) rounded out
the scoring with five minutes to play.
Keene State junior Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) was credited
with her fifth shutout despite not having to make a save.
Sophomore Beth McAloon (Bedford, N.H.) made 11 saves for the
Panthers.
Plymouth State is off until next Saturday's Little East
Conference home game against Southern Maine (4 p.m.). Keene
State returns home to host Williams on
Tuesday (7:00 p.m.).
