NO. DARTMOUTH, MASS. 10/30/04 - The Keene State College men's
soccer team completed its regular season with a 14-3-1 record and
perfect 7-0 Little East Conference mark after posting a 6-0 shutout
victory over UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday.
The top-seeded Owls (14-3-1), ranked 21st nationally and third
in New England, will host a semifinal Tournament game against
Eastern Conn. on Wednesday (6 p.m.). It is the third time in the
last five years KSC will host the Tournament.
Casey Banks (Westborough, Mass.) had two goals to lead the Owls.
Jason Lombardo (Woburn, Mass.), John Harke (Leeds, Mass.), Nick
Trottier (White River Junction, Vt.), and Pelse Messa (Manchester,
N.H.) also found the back of the net for KSC. Banks and Lombardo
both have 12 goals this season.
Brandon Beck (Johnstown, N.Y.) turned aside three shots for his
third shutout of the season and the 11th of his career. Kyle Fossey
had three saves for the Corsairs (11-6-1, 3-4 LEC).
