The loss snapped #14 ranked Keene State's (24-6) program best 11 game wining streak.  WNEC improves to 25-11.

The Owls led 6-1 in the fourth, but couldn't hold on for the non-conference victory.

KSC took a 3-1 lead in the second on a two-run home run by senior rightfielder Greg Ford (Nashua, N.H.) and a RBI single from junior centerfielder Jeff Perkins (Dunbarton, N.H.).

The Owls added three more runs in the fourth with freshman leftfielder Bobby Doyon (Keene, N.H.) delivering a two-run single.

The Golden Bears came back with two runs in the fifth, one more in the sixth, and took the lead (7-6) with a three-run seventh inning.

The Owls tied the game on Ford's second home run of the game and eighth of the season in the top of the ninth, but WNEC would plate the game-winner in the bottom of the frame.
