Keene State, winners of eight of its last nine games, improves to 23-13-1 (8-4 LEC) and moves into a tie for first with ECSU  in the Little East standings.  Southern Maine falls to 17-16-1 and 6-5 in conference play.

KSC took a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning of the opener on a bases-clearing triple by senior Anthony Cipolla (Glastonbury, Conn.).

After the Huskies scored five runs in the top of the fifth, KSC answered with three runs in the bottom of the bottom of the fifth and three more in the sixth to go up 9-5.  Sophomore Kyle Morrill (Auburn, N.H.) hit a three run home run, his fifth of the season, in the sixth.

The Owls jumped on the Huskies early, scoring five runs in the first and four more in the third to go up 10-1 in the second game.  The first inning featured a three-run home run by Doyon and a two-run blast by Burgio.

Doyon's home run was his 10th of the season and 29th of his career, putting him on top of Keene State all-time home run list.  “I've been thinking about the record, so it was nice to get it done today,” said Doyon, who surpassed the previous mark of 28 set by Greg Ford
