Box Score BOSTON, Mass.--Pedro DaSilva scored a hat-trick to lead host UMass Boston to a 5-1 win over Keene State College in a Little East Conference men's soccer game on Saturday evening.
The Beacons up their record to 13-3, and 5-1 in the LEC, while the Owls fall to 4-10, with a 1-5 LEC mark.
UMass scored three times in 15 minutes to break the game open. Guilherme Barbosa slipped his seventh goal of the year past KSC goalie Mark Keller in the 25th minute, while DaSilva scored twice in a two minute span to make it 3-0.
DaSilva completed his hat-trick 1:36 into the second half.
Keene State broke up the shutout in the 65th minute when Brett Sullivan scored his second of the year after being set up by Joseph Delaney.
UMass Boston added a fifth with 14 minutes left through Ricky Bonilla.
Keene State played 67 minutes a man down after Promise Kpee received a second yellow card.
The Owls will look to break into the win column when they travel to RPI on Wednesday evening.
