It was the second consecutive tie for Keene State, which has tied Colby Sawyer (0-0 on September 12), Middlebury (3-3 on October 5), and UMass Boston (2-2 on October 24). KSC's record is now 9-5-4. Westfield State is 8-6-2. Keene State is 1-1-4 in overtime this season.
Keene State outshot Westfield State 11-8, including 7-3 in the second half and overtime periods, but could not breach the goal of Westfield's goalies Anne Stack and Natalia Falcone. Stack made four saves in the first half and Falcone made one in the final 65 minutes.
KSC's Danielle Warhall made three saves, recording her sixth shutout of the year, including a stop on Kenzie Saltmarsh in the first overtime that kept the game scoreless.
Keene State closes out the regular season by traveling to Western Connecticut State on October 31, with kickoff slated for 4 p.m. Depending on KSC's result and results around the league, the Owls could finish as high as the No. 2 seed or as low as No. 5.
