- Middlebury dominated the shots, by a margin of 20-3, and in corner kicks, holding an advantage of 11-5 over Keene State.
- Jason Smith made four saves in net, while Greg Sydor stopped two.
Game Highlights
- The Panthers struck first in the 18th minute, off a goal from Adam Laser, who scored off of a deflection from an Owls' defender.
- Laser increased Middlebury's lead in the 26th minute, after Greg Conrad sent the ball towards the Owls' goal.
- Keene State's best opportunity of the game came in the 35th minute on a bid by Conor Leahy from 18 yards out, but Sydor made a diving save to his left to keep the Owls off the board.
- In the 39th minute, Samuel Binogono created a goal scoring opportunity, after he dribbled through multiple defenders to get the shot off, but Sydor quickly collected the ball for the Panthers.
- The final goal for Middlebuy in the first half and ultimately the game, came in the 42nd minute, as Daniel O'Grady finished a cross from Adam Laser.
- The Panthers saw two opportunites in the second half, but the attempts from O'Grady and Jed Sass both hit the cross bar.
