How It Happened
Keene State opened the game on the attack, as the Owls took the first two shots of the game. Eastern Connecticut took the lead in the 30th minute of play, as Aly Clark scored on the first ESCU penalty kick, scoring on a shot to the low left corner of the cage. Following the goal, the Warriors remained on the offensive, as they fired two more shots right before the break.
Both teams would head into the break with the Warriors up 1-0, but the host would quickly expand the lead. Nikki Basilicato would add two more goals, first on a penalty kick in the 54th minute and then again in the 60th minute. Eastern Connecticut would go on and add a fourth goal of the game, as Stephanie Sanchez took a shot that bounced off the left post, and rolled into the right post.
Keene State would have a few more chances before the end of the game, but could not capitalize.

- The Warriors outshot the Owls 13-7, while the Owls had the 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
- Shelby Offord made three stops for Keene State on the afternoon, while ECSU split time between Kayla Labrecque, Erin Collins, and Makeda Bailey. The Warriors' keepers combined to record four stops for their fourth shutout of the year.
