KEENE, N.H. - Due to heavy rain and unplayable field conditions, today's Little East Conference baseball doubleheader between Keene State College and Western Connecticut State University at Owl Athletic Complex has been cancelled.
The teams got in two innings and two outs in the top of the third before a light rain turned heavy and made the field unplayable just before 1:00 pm. The doubleheader will not be made up.
Today marked Senior Day and the final time in an Owl uniform for Connor Johnson, Mac Struthers, Bobby Baril, John Tarascio, David Sevigny, Connor Longley and Brandon Heath. The seven were recognized in an on-field ceremony following the cancellation that was originally scheduled to take place between games.
