How it Happened
The Owls were quickly on the board within the first seven minutes of the game. After
Vance Bates' shot was turned aside by Plymouth State goalie Nicolas Cornejo for a KSC corner, Bates whipped in a corner kick that Fleming glanced past Cornejo for his first goal of the season.
After Faisal Abdallah hit the post for the Panthers, Keene State doubled the lead in the 29th minute.Â
Henry Cummings' free kick took a deflection off the head of a Plymouth State defender, and flew past Cornejo for an own goal. Â
KSC took that 2-0 lead into halftime, and added a third less than 10 minutes into the second half.  Mungeta controlled the ball and dribbled into the box before firing his first of the season past Cornejo at the far post. Â
Plymouth State responded with Sean Kern's goal less than two minutes later, but could not mount a further attack. Â
Nate Howard made four saves for Keene State in net.
