And Still: Lee Repeats as 1000 Free Champion in Day Three of LEC Championships

WELLESLEY, Mass. – For the second consecutive day at the Little East Conference championships for the Keene State College swimming and diving teams, Rory Lee picked up another first-place finish for the Owls as she led KSC in day three of action.
 
Saturday's Highlights
 
In a close race for the second day in a row, Lee edged out Ollie Kramer of Plymouth State University again, this time in the 1000 free as Lee's time of 11:11.80 won first place by 1.95 seconds for her second consecutive first-place finish in the event after winning it her junior season. Emily Stokel and Madison Wilson also earned points for the Owls in the 1000 free as they placed sixth and seventh, respectively. After both placing in the top-five in the 200 IM on Friday, Olivia Boulris and Rebecca Radonovich both placed top-five in the 400 IM with Boulris placing fourth in 4:59.68 and Radonovich placing fifth in 5:06.89. Hannah Reddick and Maddy Fitzgerald also added championship final finishes for the Owls with Reddick placing sixth in the 200 free in 2:06.88 and Fitzgerald placed eighth in 1:15.91. The women's 800 free relay rounded out the day with a third-place finish in 8:22.68 as the Owls currently sit in third place with 354 points as a team.
 
On the men's side in day three, the Owls had six top-eight finishes on the day, led by Leo Lauridsen's second second-place finish on the weekend as he swam the 400 IM in 4:23.91, while Brayden Rodgers placed eighth in the event for KSC. Alec Agosto also added a medal on the day for the Owls as he placed third in the 1000 free with a time of 10:48.42. In the 1M diving, Cooper Niles placed fourth with a score of 300.00, while Keegan Johnson was fifth with a score of 266.95. Zack Menz rounded out the championship finals finishes for the Owls with an eighth-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.26. The Owls rounded out day three in fifth place with 354 points as a team.
