PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Five Keene State College student-athletes were honored by the Little East Conference for their achievements accomplished for the week of September 14-20.
 
Women's Soccer
 
Senior defender Paige Smith (Woodsville, Conn.) was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week for the as she helped anchor KSC's defense that did not allowing a single goal over the week. Not only did Smith play in 169 of 180 minutes on defense over the two games, but she also contributed to the Owls' attack as she netted her first collegiate goal in the Owls' win over WSU, which also landed as the No. 4 play on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays that night.

Freshman goalkeeper Michaela DiCiccio (Tolland, Conn.) was named the LEC Rookie of the Week from her performance in net for the Owls over their 2-0 week of action. Over KSC's two games, DiCiccio posted her first two career collegiate shutouts, making six saves in net in the Owls' 4-0 win over Worcester State University and five saves against the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in the Owls' 1-0 LEC victory. DiCiccio continues to be a key addition to the Owls as she has not allowed a goal over the past 192:33 of game time in net for KSC.
  
Smith, DiCiccio, and the Owls return to action back at home under the lights for their next contest as the Owls host Western New England University on Tuesday, September 22, at 7:00 PM.
 
Volleyball
 
Freshman Bella Bacon (Brookline, Mass.) was named the LEC Rookie of the Week from her performance in the Owls' three matches over the week. Bacon recorded 24 kills, 37 digs, seven aces and four blocks on the week, as she tied her career-high with nine kills and set a career-high of three aces against WPI, while also logging 16 digs over the Owls' five set match.
 
Bacon and the Owls return to action back at home as the Owls next host Colby-Sawyer College on Thursday, September 24, at 6:00 PM.
 
Men's Cross Country
 
Senior Tyler Bolaske (Palmer, Mass.) was named the LEC Runner of the Week from his performance on Saturday at the Cardinal Invitational hosted by Wesleyan University at the Wes Fuhrman Trails Cross Country Course. Despite a fall early in the run, Bolaske pushed his way to a seventh-place finish with a time of 24:53.0 on the 8K course. Bolaske led the men's side that finished fifth of the ninth teams, in a field that included four nationally ranked teams.
 
Bolaske and the Owls return to action at the Keene State Invitational for their next meet on Saturday, October 3, at 12:00 PM.
 
Women's Cross Country
 
Junior Kallie Warner (Buxton, Maine) was named the LEC Runner of the Week, like Bolaske, from her performance on Saturday at the Cardinal Invitational hosted by Wesleyan University at the Wes Fuhrman Trails Cross Country Course. Warner finished in 11th place out of the field of 101 runners with a time of 22:24.2 as her time was over two minutes faster than her 6K time last year at the 2025 NCAA regionals. Warner led the women's side to a fourth-place finish in the field of eight teams on the day with 169 points.
