'WILLIMANTIC, CT  11/9/02 - Arriving late to the meet didn't stop the Keene State College women's swim team form posting victories over host over Eastern CT (63-59) and Colby-Sawyer College (71-50) in a tri-meet held Saturday in Willimantic, CT

Missing the first three events due to a mix-up in directions, the Owls (2-1) won their first two dual meets of the season.

Lisa Wandeloski (Westfield, MA.)had a big day for KSC winning the 100-yard freestyle (55.93) and the 100 individual medley (1:05.31).  Megan Humphrey (New Hartford, N.Y.) also had a pair of wins in the 50 freestyle (26.69) and the 200 freestyle (2:06.40).

Other winners for KSC included: Karly Smith (Concord, N.H.) (50 backstroke /31.94) and sister Lanell Smith (Concord, N.H.) (100 breast stoke race /33.18).  Kate Goulet (100 fly/1:03.5), and Laura Cuomo (Hamden CT) (100 back/1:34.14).

Keene State hosts Norwich University on Wednesday in a 5 p.m. meet at Spaulding Gym pool.
