"Wheaton and Springfield are tough Division III competitors with ample experience at the NCAA national level, and a history of producing All-American swimmers, so we happy to now be at the level to compete with them," said KSC Coach Jack Fabian.

"The meet was held at Wheaton which made for an exciting venue and some fast swims.  The 8 lane format was a challenge for us since we are still working on building depth in the program," he added.  For the men's meet, we knew that Springfield would be tough opponent and they beat us by 52pts.  The men easily handled Wheaton and beat them by 130 points.

On the women's side, they also lost to Springfield by 52 points.  We also predicted that Wheaton would beat us by the same amount.  Wheaton did win but the KSC women kept the point difference to 19 points.
