PLYMOUTH, N.H. – For the second time this season, the Keene State College men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed the sweep on the day as the Owls won the double-dual meet over Plymouth State University, 174-85, and Rhode Island College, 191-70 on the women's side and defeated PSU 135-86 on the men's side in the final contest for KSC before the Little East Conference championships in two weeks.
Women's Highlights
- Rory Lee led the way for the Owls as she won her three individual events on the day, winning the 100 fly in 1:11.20. Lee finished first in the 100 free in 59.49, with teammates Hannah Reddick and Madison Wilson close behind, to go with another first-place finish in the 200 free in 2:06.84 with Reddick and Olivia Boulris rounding out the top-three for the Owls in the event.
- Freshman Madison Wilson won a pair of individual events for the Owls on the day too as she won the 500 free in 5:43.45, along with the 1,000 free in 11:51.46, finishing 7.2 seconds ahead of second place.
- Boulris won the 50 fly in 30.06 to go with a pair of first place finishes in the Owls' relay victories as a part of the Owls relay composed of Boulris, Kyleigh Dyer, Maddy Fitzgerald, and Tallulah Going that won the 200 medley relay in 2:02.93, winning by four seconds. Boulris also anchored the Owls' first place relay finish in the 200 free relay, alongside Going, Dyer, Reddick, and Boulris that won by five seconds.
- Going added to her first-place finishes as part of the relay teams with a first-place finish in the 50 free in 26.12, with teammates Dyer and Reddick finishing close behind.
Men's Highlights
- Zack Menz led the Owls on the day on the men's side, winning both his individual events, swimming the 100 back in 1:01.53 and 500 free in 5:25.72. Menz also led off both of the Owls' first place relay finishes, winning the 200 medley relay in 1:49.15 composed of Menz, Leo Lauridsen, Caiden Cox, and Carter Beauchesne, to go with the first-place finish in the 200 free relay, finishing in 1:36.62 alongside Alec Agosto, Beauchesne, and Cox.
- Beauchesne also won an individual event to go with his first-place finishes in the relay, winning the 1,000 free in 11:39.97, beating second place by 30 seconds.
- Like Beauchesne, Cox won an individual event to go with the first-place finishes in the relays with a 59.88 in the 100 IM, winning by 2.8 seconds.
- Agosto and Nguyen rounded out the wins on Saturday with Agosto winning the 200 free in 1:58.19, winning by over four seconds and Nguyen winning the 20 back in 31.29.
Keene State returns to action in two weeks for the Little East Conference championships, kicking off on Thursday, February 12.
