WORCESTER, Mass.--Alison Bartlett was a part of four victories and Diana Pimer won three events as the Keene State College women's swimming and diving team competed at the New England Invitational at WPI on Saturday.
The Owls won six events on the day, including Bartlett's individual victories in the 200 freestyle and 50 freestyle. Bartlett won the former in 1:56.70, touching in just .20 seconds ahead of Carylyn White of Assumption. She also won the 50 in 24.13. Finally, she was a part of the 200 free relay, teaming with Pimer, Taylor DaSilva, and Madison Sestak for a first place finish in 1:40.07.
Bartlett, DaSilva also joined up with Caitlyn Shea and Hope Walsh for a win in the 400 free relay, where another close finish saw the Owls finish first in 3:41.30, just a half-second ahead of the foursome from RPI.
In addition to the relay win, Pimer also picked up solo victories in the 400 IM, where she posted a six second win over Assumption's Niamh Morgan with a time of 4:41.92, and another first place nod in 100 breast in 1:08.82.
Bartlett, DaSilva, Sestak, and Pimer were also second in the 200 medley relay in 1:52.32.
KSC returns to action on November 15, at a tri-match that at Springfield College that also features Wheaton.
