SHENANDOAH, Texas--The All-America honors keep on piling up for the members of the Keene State College swimming and diving team at the NCAA Division III Championships at the Conroe Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas.
The 800 freestyle relay team of Shahar Resman, Chris DiGiacomo, Ryan Boraski, and Cole Hogg placed seventh overall in 6:38.60. KSC swam in the morning heat, and had the fastest time amongst the first 11 teams to swim. The seventh place finish was ahead of both Emory and the University of Chicago, who swam the evening heat.
It's the fourth straight year KSC has earned an All-American honor in the 800 free relay, finishing 10th in 2011-12, fourth in 2012-13, and fifth in 2013-14.
The result also means that all five swimmers who went to Texas this week will come back with an All-American medal, after junior Alison Bartlett placed third in the 50 freestyle earlier this week.
Despite having just four swimmers at the meet, the Keene State men sit tied for 17th place with 46 points. Bartlett, as KSC's lone female swimmer, has the Owls in 32nd place with 16 points.
Before returning to Keene, there is one final day of racing. Boraski and Bartlett will race in the 100 free, while Resman will race the 1,650 free.
