PROVIDENCE, R.I.--A pair of freshmen from the Keene State College women's swimming and diving team were recipients of weekly honors from the Little East Conference, the league office announced today.

Keely Alterio was named the Diver of the Week and Rookie Diver of the Week for the second time after also winning both on February 15.  Alterio won the 1-meter dive against Plymouth State, scoring 197.05.

Classmate Kiley Young was named the Rookie Swimmer of the Week, after being a part of four event wins against the Panthers.  She swam the opening leg of the 200 medley relay that the Owls won in 2:00.42, then took first place in the 50 backstroke (29.69), 100 backstroke (1:03.69), and the 100 IM (1:05.20).   It's also the second week she has won the award.
