th time Bruno has scored three or more goals in an Owls uniform. Bruno also collected one assist on the evening totaling for seven points in a 4-1 win over the New England College Pilgrims.

How it Happened
After a slow moving first quarter which only saw one shot on goal which belonged to Keene State's
Emily White, the Owls got on the board early in the second quarter when senior
Nina Bruno tallied her first of the season. Bruno was able to take advantage of the Pilgrims goalkeeper Ellie Philben and score the opening goal of the frame just 1:26 into the second quarter. The Pilgrims responded quickly with two consecutive shots on goal just over one minute after the Bruno goal, but
Victoria Watson was able to make the saves, leaving NEC off the board.
Nina Bruno would continue her dominance on the field when she netted her second of the evening just less than four minutes after tallying her first goal of the game. Bruno was able to put up two shots in the sequence, the second of which found the back of the net putting the Owls ahead 2-0 early in the second quarter. KSC came away with nine shots in the second quarter forcing goalkeeper Ellie Philben to come up with a handful of big saves to hold Keene State at bay. Keene State would be able to find goal one final time in the second quarter with just five seconds left in the quarter. Freshman

Nina Bruno and tallied her first career collegiate goal. The Owls took the 3-0 edge heading into the break.
The third quarter of the contest stayed quiet, with just three penalty corners and four shots seen. New England College would get the better of the play to end the third quarter as with just 21 seconds remaining, NEC's Mikayla Vincent took a shot that rolled past GK
Molly Edmark to give the Pilgrims some life heading into the fourth and final quarter.
New England College got the better of the play in the fourth quarter, shooting seven times towards
Molly Edmark, but Edmark was up to the task making five saves on five shots on goal in the quarter. The Owls would tally one final time in the contest with
Nina Bruno picking up her hat trick goal from
Maggie Cahoon giving the Owls the 4-1 lead, the score that would finalize at the final horn of the contest. In the win,
Victoria Watson made two saves for the Owls playing the first 38:04 of the contest.
Molly Edmark came in relief and was credited with seven saves in the 21:56 of work she saw on the field. For New England College, it was Ellie Phlben playing the full 60:00, making nine saves on 13 shots on goal by the Owls.
Penalty Strokes
- Keene's Nina Bruno came away with the hat trick and added an assist on the Emma Cahoon tally, good for seven points for the Owls in their first win of the season. Bruno now has 79 career goals as a member of Keene State, good for second all-time behind Sammi Smith who has the current record of 90 which she did from 2013-2016.
- KSC and NEC met for the first time since 2014 on the evening with Keene State winning their seventh consecutive contest against the Pilgrims. KSC held New England College under two goals for the third consecutive contest.
- Keene State led the way in corners with 11, including six in the opening two quarters. NEC finished the evening with seven.
