Four Owls Named 2025 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recently announced their 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction, recognizing 543 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Four members of the Keene State College field hockey team were named as Scholars of Distinction as freshmen Molly Diamondstein and Elle MacDonald, junior Belle Hemond, and senior Clara Gorman were recipients of the award.

The recognition for the four Owls comes after they were all named to the NFHCA Division III Academic Squad previously, from having over a 3.50 GPA through the fall semester.

KSC had the second-most represented athletes on the Scholars of Distinction list in the Little East Conference with the University of Southern Maine having five selections, while the remaining five LEC schools had two or less apiece.
