Jasmine Shtufaj shot a +44 to lead the Keene State College women's golf team to fifth place at the Northeast Women's Golf Championship at McGregor Links Country Club.
Shtufaj made an 12 stroke improvement on the back nine, netting a par on No. 12 to lead KSC. Senior
Lexi Boisvert was next with a +48, followed by sophomore
Hope Kelley (+49), sophomore
Emily McCarthy (+50), and sophomore
Jodi Mercier, who parred out No. 9 to finish at +58.
Keene State is currently at +191, 45 strokes behind Husson University.
SUNY Cortland is leading the team event at +46, while Suffolk's Isabel Smith is the individual leader at +7 after round one.
