KEENE, N.H. – The Keene State College men's and women's swimming and diving team celebrated not only their nine seniors on Saturday, they also were able to celebrate after going a combined 3-0 over Rhode Island College and Plymouth State University. On the men's side KSC beat PSU 160-69, while on the women's side, KSC beat PSU 207-49, and KSC beat RIC 206-55. Of the 32 events that the teams competed in, KSC took home first in 28 of them.
Women's Highlights
- In the diving events,
Megan Strzegowski took home first on both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events, scoring 219.70 and 253.30, respectively. Her 253.30 on the 3M broke the program record for most points scored in six dives, breaking Chelsea Peruccio's record of 240.86 in 2007.
Carlie Cronin came in second in both events, scoring 203.15 and 194.75, while senior
Abigail Murphy came in third, scoring 172.85 and 193.20.

Tallulah Going placed first in all four of her events, coming in the 50 back (31.12), 50 free (26.66), anchoring the 200 medley relay (2:03.20), and anchoring the 200 free relay (1:49.07).

Kyleigh Dyer, along with seniors
Mia Destefani and
Lexi Quinn rounded out the first place 200 free relay team, while the seniors also picked up second place individual finishes. Destefani placed second in the 100 breast (1:17.80), while Quinn placed second in the 200 free (2:14.11).

Emily Stokel finished first in the 500 free (5:56.53), along with joining Going,
Maddy Fitzgerald, and
Olivia Boulris in finishing first in the 200 medley relay.
- Senior
Samantha Taylor won the 200 free in 2:12.61, along with finishing second in the 500 free (6:01.01).

Rory Lee placed first in two events, coming in the 1000 free (11:38.30) and 100 free (59.33).

Amanda Davies won both the 50 breast (35.74) and 100 breast (1:17.55).
- Senior
Adessa Noyes finished in first with a time of 29.38 in the 50 fly and first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:06.09.
Men's Highlights
- Senior
Aaron Turgeon led KSC on the men's side, going four-for-four in his events. In his individual events, he finished first in the 100 back (57.06), 50 fly (25.28) and 100 IM (57.03). Turgeon also led the Owls' 200 medley team to first place, as he led the team, which finished in 1:46.81.

Zach Perry, another KSC senior, was alongside Turgeon in the 200 free relay, while also being a part of the Owls' first place finish in the 200 free relay, which finished with a time of 1:37.08. Perry also placed first in the 100 fly in 58.61.
- The third of KSC's four seniors on the men's side,
Nick Ferrucci, was also a part of the two relay groups that finished first, along with placing first in the 100 free (54.44).
- The Owls' final senior,
Zachary Finman, rounded out the 200 medley team that finished first and also placed first in the 50 free (22.97).

Alec Agosto finished first in the 200 free in 1:57.54, along with going third in the 200 free relay that finished first.
- Three other Owls placed first, with
Zackary Menz winning the 50 breast in 30.03,
Leo Lauridsen finishing first in the 500 free (5:22.19), and
Evan Keefe picking up first in the 1000 free in 11:25.68 to go with his first place finish in the 200 free relay.

The Owls are back in action in two weeks, as they will travel to the Boston Sports Institute for the Little East Conference Championships, over four days, spanning Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, February 16.
